My first stories were verbalised to my mom, who would write them down for me.  Once I learnt how to write, I started making little books by stapling pieces of paper together.  I actually still have all of them.
As a teen, I tried to write short stories and novels but never finished anything I started.  I wrote a few poems too, which I kept to myself unless it was for school.
Later on in life I wrote a few short stories, using my computer this time, but never showed them to anyone.
I never thought about publishing anything until a friend of mine told me I should.  This was after I wrote my fictional diary "Veronica's Soap Opera Life."  After it got published, I decided to turn the Veronica story into a trilogy.  An idea for a completely different type of story came into my head when I was still working on the Veronica series.   My horror novel based on Jack the Ripper was soon published.   I then wrote a few short stories and polished some of the ones I had written in my early twenties to put them all in one book.  When I was sick, I wrote a fictional novel called "Hope," desperate to make my family and friends understand what I was going through.  It is definitely not by best work, and I don't generally encourage people to read it.  I would rather people read the article I wrote about me living with Colitis, which was published in The Suburban Newspaper.   Anyways, I ended up writing a fantasy novel for my pre-teen son and am thinking about doing a sequel.
To be honest, I didn't start to really consider myself as an author until I started writing family oriented short stories for The Suburban Online Magazine.
Now, ideas are constantly flowing in my head and I like to lose myself in the worlds I create.  I NEED to write.  It is like a breath of fresh air to me.

Unfortunately no.  I remember making story collections based on my main characters though.  One was all about a girl named Melanie, and another about Natalie.  Now that I think about it, those two names were also the names of popular girls in my grade.

I also remember being inspired by a rumor that the museum of nature in Ottawa was haunted.

No.  I was actually more interested in acting. 
I originally started taking acting lessons to overcome my shyness and ended up really liking it.  Also, it helped me with oral presentations.  I would make up a character in my head and pretend that it was the character doing the presentation rather than myself.  lol
I performed in a couple of amateur stage showed and joined a Youth run Theatre Company. I was also an extra in a few commercials, TV shows and movies.
My love for acting soon got replaced with the love for my son. I made him my number one priority. I found it easier to write on my spare time than to work around other people's schedules to act. I found that I had to use some of my acting training to write since I had to put myself in the shoes of the characters I created.

When I just write notes I can be anywhere.   I used to bring note books with me almost everywhere I went, and when I didn't have them I would jot down ideas on random scraps of papers, post-its, napkins, inside my puzzle books... Any paper available really.   I usually have my Ipad mini with me now so I can easily write down ideas in the notes.  I still used scraps of papers at times, but use my Ipad more often.  (I also use it to read.) 
When I am trying to focus on a story I must be in a quiet area and don't like to be disturbed.   I use my laptop.

Putting characters to life and creating stories that entertain other people.

I hate when I get inspired during a time that I can't write, like at the office.  It drives me nuts cause it's all I can think about.
I like seeing my ideas grow when I finally have a chance to write them down. 
I hate it when I am at the stage of reading my work over and over because I start to find my work bad.  But, I set it aside and read it again a few days later and start to like it again.  Plus, it gives me a chance to ad stuff I didn't think of before.  As much as I am happy when I finish a story, I am also sad because it means I can't make my characters do new things... 
I am always very proud of my finished products (even my novel "Hope" because I decided to donate my earnings to the Colitis and Chron's Foundation of Canada at one point.) and like hearing people say they enjoyed reading my stories. 
I hate the fact that I have to spend so much time marketing my books and myself.  It feels like it is time I could be spending doing more writing.  But, it has to be done for more people to know my books exist.

They have given me extra motivation to write.  Before, I just did it for myself.  I love hearing that my hard word was appreciated by others.  The internet has given me a way to connect with my readers with is great.  I love to hear from them, and especially thanking them when they give me positive feedback or reviews.

My favourite holiday has always been Halloween because I love to dress up and also scare people for fun.  There was a time were I would morph my apartment into a "haunted home" and have parties for both adults and kids. 
Since I love entertaining people around Halloween as well as scary stories, I decided to write a horror novel.  During a tip I took to London, I became fascinated by the mysterious murders that took place in Whitechapel back in 1888, and was inspired to write a story about the reincarnation of Jack the Ripper.  I tried to create the worst possible serial killer ever, and judging from the comments and reviews, it looks like I succeeded.

I am very very creative.  Aside from writing, I sometimes like to paint or do little projects.  I also like to dance but mostly just do it when I am doing boring housework or using the Wii to stay fit.
During the warmer seasons I like being outdoors.  I like to take walks or sit in the park to read a good fictional novel.  My favorite genres are mystery, suspense, and horror but I also enjoy girly books once in a while.  I started reviewing books for other authors so keep an open mind.
Sometimes I go out in thunderstorms.  During the winter, I like cuddling in front of the TV with a blanket and a warm beverage.  I like watching horror and suspenseful movies and sometimes comedies. 
I love to travel and explore different parts of the world.  I keep a travel journal, which helped me with a lot of my stories.

Clean and organised.  I am kind of a neat freak.
