Read what people are saying about Harmony

Doug Simpson rated it 5 stars on 5 on Amazon

This is the third installment in a series of books inspired by actives in the life of the author but told by a fictional character named Harmony. Harmony endured a rocky early life, in book one, and it is heartwarming to see that in her thirties she has finally found peace and happiness with her true love, Christian. As in her earlier books, the author has demonstrated her unique talent for detailed descriptions of events and locations and the reader is able to clearly see in his/her mind the events as if watching a video or being present in person. I enjoy that immensely. Great job, Chantal Bellehumeur.

Jennifer Loiske rated it 5 stars out of 5 on Amazon

Every book I've read from Chantal Bellehumeur has had a strong taste of life in them and Harmony follows nicely up with the same category. From the beginning I had a feeling I was a part of the story, that I was reading (and sometimes even peeking) at the author's life. Everything is very, very detailed so it's easy to slip into the story. Yet I can see that this very thing is most likely the one that will divide the readers. Some will love it, some hate. I personally loved it! I also think it takes a great talent to write such a detailed story without boring the readers dead. I know I've said this before but Chantal's writing is so diary like, probably because there is not much of a dialogue but a lot of telling, that it makes me feel like I'm privileged to be a part of her world and honored she let me read her diary. I know, I know...thousands of other readers are in a same position but am just saying how I feel...

This is a prelude to love. Harmony's love for Christian to be precise, and I'm pretty sure every man would feel loved and cherished if being a subject of this kind of affection.

P.S. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

First I was given a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I do enjoy reading these lovely little slices of life in Canada. I love the main character and how plucky she is. Having gone through a lot of garbage, she still has a great attitude toward life in general. I don't like the boxes Amazon has here for us to fill out. There are some stories that simply don't fall into their little categories. But in order to review it I had to pick a box. This book cannot be pigeonholed. It is different and quite enjoyable. A sweet story.

Cherime MacFarlane rated it 5 stars out of 5 on Goodreads

I have now read all three of these slices of life. I really like how Harmony stands up to the things in her life that attempt to take her down. This is a testament to a normal woman's determination to keep on keeping on.
